Davide S. Was born in Bolzano, Italy. He grew up in the beautiful Dolomites, in what he refers to as "my mountains." He had his exposure to color - shades of white, blue, and grey in winter and vibrant greens, reds, and pinks in the summer. His mother, an artist herself, was his main inspiration and guide into the foray of color and painting. He learned to paint at an early age, partly copying his mother's work and partly self-teaching, using his imagination as his inspiration. He mainly used oil colors.

He then went on to study law, became a successful lawyer, and worked in different business lines in the industry; however, he always painted as a hobby, photographed the beautiful nature wherever he traveled, and kept the fire alive. Around Covid, he started to shift his focus from oil to black ink drawing and studied this technique at length, producing a variety of black ink drawings from animals to children to buildings and architecture. Today, he continues to produce both oil paintings and black ink drawings; he finds his main inspiration still in nature, as is observed in his work, and at times forays into his imagination with the abstract work he produces. His black ink drawings are also available as prints upon request.
